Please join us for Vechornutsi, this time we’re going to have a jewelry making workshop. Every Ukrainian woman and girl likes to have an attractive Namysto for her Vushyvanka, this is an opportunity for every one of you to come home with that coveted necklace that you will make with your own hands.

Bring your own beads + closures-clasps and supplies if you have any; we will provide supplies such as strings, tools and will help everyone assemble at least one necklace by the end of the workshop.

You could find some very nice beads at the local stores like Michaels, Joann Fabrics, or any beads store, or online. They have a variety of natural stone, glass, or metal beads, and often 50% off the price which normally ranges from $3 to $7 per strand of beads. You would need two or three strands of those beads.

The fee for our workshop is $10 at the door. We will provide some snacks and hot coffee and tea. You can also bring finger food, sweets, and fruits to share, so we can make it a potluck.

IMPORTANT, no small children allowed; the parts we would use in our workshop are very small and could be swallowed by small kids.
